Payment :
For all bookings of Kite, Wing or other lessons, you can pay the total amount on site. We accept payment by card, cash or payment link. If you wish to prepay, or in the case of a booking with a deposit (depending on the package), you can pay by bank transfer or payment link.
Thank you for having a means of payment with you for your lessons.
We accept : VISA, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, AMERICAN EXPRESS, Google PAY, Visa PAY, Apple PAY, DISCOVER Card, UnionPay, DinnersClub International and JCB.
schedules / LESSONS :
Lessons run between 8am to 8pm.
Lessons will take place at Lo Stagnone or at the little harbour in San Teodoro (we’ll send you the exact location when you book). Once the boat leaves the port, one hour of class will be deducted automatically, even if the entire lesson is not completed.
You are going to take part in a ‘weather-dependent’ sport, so the start time may be changed at the last minute. You will be informed in good time.
The instructor is the only person qualified and able to decide on the running of the session, the timing, the organisation of the sessions and the equipment to be used. Sessions may be cancelled due to wind, sea conditions or dangerous weather conditions (thunderstorms).
If the weather is bad, a substitute activity may be offered.
In case of cancellation, lessons will be rescheduled according to availability.
A lesson includes: welcoming, equipment ( dressing and undressing the student), choice of equipment and learning time. If you book a pack lesson with boat, it also includes the boarding, the trip to the spot and back to the starting point.
CHILDREN LESSONS :
Our lessons are open to children aged 12 and over, mainly because of the weight and size of the equipment. Your instructor is perfectly qualified and trained to teach young people. Of course, it’s important to be comfortable in the water before you start kitesurfing.
cancellation :
Cancellation by you :
15 days before the date of the lesson: your deposit will be refunded (depending on the service booked).
Less than 15 days before the date of the lesson: your deposit will be retained in full (depending on the service booked).
Any package lesson started will be charged in full.
We understand that unexpected events may happen, but a last-minute cancellation may have consequences for the planning of our services and for other customers who could have benefited from this availability. We encourage our customers to inform us as soon as possible if their plans change, so we can better manage our planning and offer the best possible service to everyone.
Cancellation by us :
In case of cancellation by us due to weather conditions, lessons will be rescheduled according to availability.
These conditions may be flexible according to the situation, but the final decision remains to the Bluecrab Kite school director.
REFUND :
A refund may be applied in exceptional cases, to be decided by the Bluecrab Kite school director.
EQUIPMENT :
The price’s lesson includes all equipment: kite, board, wetsuit, harness, life jacket, helmet and radio.
However, for your own comfort, you can bring: your own neoprene wetsuit, light old shoes, sunglasses with a cord (be careful, at the beginning you’ll often be looking up at the sky), sunscreen, water, a snack, a towel and clothes.
insurance :
Civil liability : This covers any damage you might cause to a third person, or caused by people or things under your responsibility. Civil liability is limited to this use, and cannot cover damage to equipment or physical injuries that you cause yourself or that you cause intentionally.
Ask your insurer if it will cover you in case of an accident during kitesurfing. You can also get a travel and holiday insurance to cover medical repatriation and medical expenses abroad.
RENT :
For all rental equipment, a deposit of € 1500 will be required and €15 will be charged for any delay.
The customer certifies that he/she has no contraindications to the practice of kitesurfing, wingfoil or kitefoil, certifies that he/she has the technical ability to use the rented equipment and assumes the responsibilities associated with this sport. The customer declines all responsibility for Bluecrab kite in case of material or physical damage caused to himself or to others during the use of the rented equipment. In case of late return of the equipment, a supplement corresponding to the period of delay will be invoiced. Customer liability: for the time of the rental, the customer is responsible for the rented equipment in their care (art.1383 and 1384 of the French Civil Code) with regard to damage/theft of the equipment as well as damage caused to third parties. As a result, in case of partial or total theft of the equipment, damage or deterioration, the customer must pay to Bluecrab Kite the invoice for the equipment if not repairable, or the invoice for repair if repairable, according to the expertise of Bluecrab Kite. The customer releases Bluecrab Kite from any liability in case of bodily injury suffered by the customer during his independent practice, Bluecrab Kite can not be held responsible for any liability. In case of bodily injury or material damage caused to third parties, the customer must declare the loss to his civil liability insurance company. In the event of any dispute, the courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

You authorise the distribution and publication for educational and/or promotional purposes of photos and videos in which you may appear as part of your lessons with Bluecrab Kite.
You authorise Bluecrab Kite to take photos and videos of you during your lessons, and to distribute and publish them for educational and/or promotional purposes.
